The team 
Our Product & Program Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.
 
This position
As a Lead Product Manager - Sign, you will lead the efforts to develop the roadmap, vision, and priorities for DocuSign’s business-facing eSignature applications which are used by millions of business users worldwide. You will be a champion of customers and consumers alike. Based on qualitative and quantitative insights, you will inform product directions that drive measurable impact. You will leverage innovative technologies such as AI/ML to deliver impactful innovations that drive top-level business outcomes and redefine the “state-of-the-art” for the eSignature industry. You will manage new innovations that allow building an ecosystem of engaged senders and signers in the DocuSign service. You will mentor junior members of the team to support their continued career growth. You will champion a product management culture that focuses on delivering impact, data-driven decision making and fast yet diligent execution.
 
Product Managers at DocuSign are the CEOs of their product and ship features that make our customers successful. PMs work cross-functionally with customers, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, UX, Support, etc. to define product vision, gather requirements, execute on the feature and drive product launches.
 
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management and is designated Flex.
 
Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for eSignature applications with clear focus on driving business results
  • Evaluate business opportunities and bring to market innovative product capabilities that provides differentiated solutions and experiences to DocuSign customers
  • Participate in attracting, mentoring, and developing a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers
  • Apply your understanding of both business and consumer audiences to drive the next generation of eSignature innovations
  • Understand market and customer needs by closely working with Customers, Consumers, User Research, Data Science, and Marketing
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Monitor, measure and report on key business and customer metrics. Identify areas for continuous testing and optimization
  • Define hypotheses for experiments and execute accordingly
  • Prioritize opportunities, define requirements and execute cross-functionally (Engineering, Design, Data Science, User Research, etc.) to take features from concept to launch
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Pricing, Legal, UX, and other cross-functional teams

Basic qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management
  • 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years related experience with a Master’s degree.
  • 2+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing product managers
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred qualifications

  • Proven track record of innovation and scaling products from 0 to 1, 1 to 100 and so on
  • Critical thinking and analytical leadership experience
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
  • Experience building with two-sided products
  • Master’s degree
