About the Role

At Chime, we believe in the power of our product to help people lead healthier financial lives. Our risk team is tasked with keeping our members’ accounts safe, providing them uninterrupted access to their money, and minimizing the company’s risk exposure and fraud loss. 

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join our Risk and Identity team. This team is responsible for empowering risk and compliance and its integration with machine learning and automation. You will partner with risk, security, growth, data, engineering, analytics, and design teams to build, test, execute, and iterate new and existing product solutions that reduce fraud loss, democratize access, protect our members, and create a world-class experience for our members.

You will drive decision-making through customer insights, quantitative analysis, and collaborating with other stakeholders. You will assist in executing the end-end strategy and roadmap. This includes, but is not limited to infrastructure, product experience, collaboration with operations, and engineering roadmap. You bring deep empathy but can effectively prioritize with limited resources.  You have a growth mindset and want to be challenged. For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $165,600 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Assist and drive the product roadmap for our Risk & Identity team to keep our members safe and minimize Chime’s risk exposure and fraud loss
  • Strategize, develop, and build upon solutions with data science, engineering and design to combat ever-changing fraud attack patterns
  • Collaborate with other product and operations teams to scale with Chime’s fast growing member base
  • Evangelize Risk & Identity initiatives across Chime 
  • Engage the risk and compliance community by participating in meet-ups, conferences, and other industry initiatives to stay up to date on best practices
  • Do things that don’t scale and iterate towards minimum-loveable-products that allow us to test our hypotheses while delivering a quality customer experience
