The team
Our Product & Program Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

This position
As the Product Manager for the Provisioning Platform, you develop the vision, roadmap and specifications for the underlying platform that is connected into all of DocuSign’s sales channels. Our platform is responsible for scaling DocuSign’s revenue to ensure customers receive the appropriate capabilities in the Agreement Cloud regardless of how customers buy (i.e. through our website, from our direct salesforce, or from a reselling partner). Your job is to ensure our underlying platform continues to evolve sustain the growth of our business. That includes enabling new sales motions, integrating new products to be sold on our platform and streamlining the provisioning workflows to enable more automation. This position requires a strong GTM sense along with deep technical skills to build distributed systems that scale.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to Sr. Director of Product Management and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

• Build the strategy and roadmap for various DocuSign product offerings
• Drive the vision and requirements, translate them to functional specifications, facilitate a sound design and deliver an efficient experience
• Leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to renewal and expansion
• Drive insights on the markets and segments in which these applications compete; stay abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate customer needs
• Profile and understand high value, innovative use cases purchased and implemented by a variety of industry customers
• Evaluate and prioritize requirements in partnership with sales, marketing, and product team leadership, leveraging industry best practices and new innovations
• Prioritize and manage a product backlog for effective release and sprint planning
• Facilitate requirements definition with design and engineering partners while identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managers
• Partner with Program Management, Design and Engineering to ensure product ships on time and to quality

Basic qualifications

• A technical degree in BA/BS/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of experience with a technical Bachelor’s degree, 8 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 5 years of experience with a PhD
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Engineering, IT, Operations, Program Management, Marketing, Sales and Customer Support
• Demonstrated success building/managing large-scale technology for a SaaS product

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working in B2B SaaS monetization teams
• Experience with payment or billing systems (e.g. Zuora, Apttus, etc.)
• Experience with GTM or Sales Operations
• Ability to design APIs for backend systems
• Ability to influence and collaborate in a matrixed environment having multiple stakeholders
