As a Lead Product Manager, you will be part of a cross-functional team working with product managers, engineers, UX and data professionals creating the vision for a product area, executing on it and constantly learning from our customers. You will also be part of our UX team made up of product designers, researchers and writers. We’re currently around 20 and growing. This means you will be able to collaborate on wider initiatives, give each other feedback about work, and shape our emerging design system, tooling and culture. 
    
We’re looking for a Product Manager who can see GetYourGuide beyond what it is today, champion the voice of our users, and execute on a vision for how we can better serve travelers around the world. 

The role will give you:

You will work closely with user research, data analytics, design, UX writing, and engineering to do the following:


- Understand customer needs and pain points around discovering travel experiences
- Design innovative and creative solutions to customer problems on web and mobile devices
- Ship high-impact products that delight our customers and increase company metrics

Your goal is to match customers with relevant travel experiences in a simple and easy way. You will work with stakeholders across the company to understand customer needs and make tradeoffs to deliver the best user experience. Success in this role will drive higher conversion, customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Your responsibilities:

- Ownership: You are skilled at laying out your team’s strategy, setting goals, and then following through; owning the outcomes of your team’s work.
- Ambiguity: Ambiguity around you does not stop you from being clear and achieving your goals.
- Communication: You demonstrate a clear and structured approach to communicating; able to connect your team’s strategy to the company’s mission and break down your team’s      strategy into clear next steps.
- Prioritisation: You use your data skills and customer empathy to weigh competing initiatives, making clear decisions on priority, focusing your team’s execution and continually re-        evaluating your roadmap and strategy based on what you learn.
- Collaboration: You are skilled at building trust with many different stakeholders and empower them by giving clear expectations and keeping them aligned with your team’s roadmap.
- Experimentation: You use experimentation as a way of evaluating the investment of your team, leveraging your data skills to evaluate results and determine next steps.
- Leadership: You can represent your Customers’ interests at the highest levels of the organization and act with openness and transparency with your team, your peers and the exec      leadership.


Your background:


- 6+ years of professional experience in product management in a customer facing role
- Demonstrated ownership over a complex product in a previous role, including responsibilities for defining strategy, vision, and goal-setting
- Strong data analytics skills with the ability to derive insights from large data sets 
- Demonstrated passion for solving customer problems through iterative improvements towards a long term vision
- Consumer search and mobile experience a plus
