About the role

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager who will help build Chime’s Investing offerings from the ground up. In this role, you will work directly with Chime’s CTO and Cofounder to shape Chime’s strategy in this new area for Chime. You will lead the execution of that strategy by partnering cross-functionally across Chime to build solutions that help our members. In doing so, you will also work closely with the various current and prospective Chime partners across the investing ecosystem.

For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $XXX plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Develop a deep understanding of the consumer investing landscape, our competitors, and our users needs.
  • Establish a shared vision for investing across the company through clearly communicated our plans and priorities.
  • Work closely with our biz dev and finance teams to form partnerships that help deliver on your mission.
  • Work collaboratively with user research, engineering, design, risk, compliance, marketing and other teams to build software collaboratively and inclusively.
  • Launch a new investing product, measure its performance, and iterate quickly to improve it.
  • Work with other product leaders to define how Chime’s Investing products fit into the overall Chime member journey.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Empathy for users and an aim to discover and resolve their pain points.
  • An owner’s mentality - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff.
  • Willingness and judgment to make hard product prioritization decisions and ability to rapidly learn from mistakes.
  • Deep curiosity. You enjoy going deep into the data, asking more “whys” in the qual, and you strive for a better understanding of what it means to meet users where they are.
  • Strong analytical abilities, competence in SQL, and experience with tools for doing data analysis.
  • Scrappiness, can-do attitude, and the confidence to just get stuff done.
  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager, ideally in Investing or a close adjacency.
