ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Lead Product Manager for the Foundations team at Cadre.
As a Lead Product Manager, Foundations you will be responsible for driving Cadre’s growth in its operational capacity. You will work closely with the Fund Operations, Accounting, Investor Relations teams to scope, prioritize, and build new products and feature improvements. Your work will drive efficiency and enable scale.
The Foundations team is the core team that builds the company’s operational functionalities. These include automated investor financial calculations, banking system integrations to enable fund movements, quarterly investor reporting, and many other parts that are critical to Cadre’s ability to serve its investors. As the Lead Product Manager on the team, you will be working closely with the Engineering and Design teams to scope, prioritize, and build new products and feature improvements to drive the growth and efficiency of the company. You will work closely with the broader team to influence not only what we build, but how we build it, by developing best practices in user research, product specifications, prioritization, implementation/delivery, data analysis, and gathering feedback. As a leader in the organization, you will present your work to the broader company to foster trust, alignment, and excitement. Success in this role is defined by team performance as well as improvements to our key KPIs for growth of the investor base and operational efficiency of the internal teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead a team of 2-3 Product Managers; fostering a winning culture 
  • Own a roadmap that prioritizes upcoming work based on expected impact
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and design teams to help define features, edge cases, and implementation details and ensure we are delivering and improving high-quality products
  • Lead a development team through every phase of the product process: product discovery, wireframing, testing, development, launch, and optimization.
  • Establish shared goals and metrics with cross-company stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and data analysis to understand the needs of our customers
  • Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases.
  • Utilize project development tools in order to track, organize and optimize project progress

WHAT YOU HAVE
  • 1-2 years experience leading a product team, ability to coach and mentor product managers.
  • 5+ years of experience managing product development at a technology driven company; experience within financial products considered an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work well with cross-functional teams as a leader and a collaborator; experience partnering with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and ship high-quality products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, problem solving skills, and business acumen 
  • Experience being hands-on with the user experience and technical design processes for a new feature or product, with sound understanding of agile methodology.

The Base Salary for this role ranges from $160,000-$190,000 plus bonus and equity. The final offer number for base salary will be determined based on location and experience, both in industry and alignment with the role.
