Our mission in the FinTech group is to help travelers book, pay, and go on incredible experiences with ease and flexibility, and empower activity providers to monetize effectively. We are responsible for the core booking experience in the marketplace and support multiple company-level initiatives and goals. We take pride in ownership and collaboration in line with our company principles. We start by deeply understanding our customer needs and building towards a vision that helps connect millions of travelers with thousands of activity providers around the world.

Role Overview

As a Lead Product Manager, you will own a significant part of the customer journey and be responsible for defining a vision and strategy that impacts multiple product areas and teams within GetYourGuide. You will have an executive presence to gain buy-in and influence the company's long-term vision. In this role, you will execute complex projects that require multiple Product, Business, and Sales teams that depend on you to achieve their goals.

Your core mission team consists of a cross-functional group of engineers, product designers, researchers, and analysts passionate about improving how users discover and book unforgettable experiences. As a leader in the company, this role requires a growth mindset and the ambition to dive into complex problems with a positive mindset. We are looking for a Lead Product Manager who can envision GetYourGuide beyond its current state, champion our users' voices, and execute on a global scale.

You will:

• Develop and execute a long-term strategy (12+ months) for transaction processing, including building a robust commission engine and ensuring seamless integration with accounting systems, aligned with traveler and supplier needs.
• Within 12-18 months: Take on leadership responsibilities of a wider group covering Checkout, Payments, and Revenue Platforms.
• Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, prioritize commission calculations, reconciliation, and reporting initiatives, and deliver features that ensure accurate and scalable transaction processing.
• Collaborate with finance, engineering, and operations teams to build trust and alignment, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy across all payment and accounting workflows.
• Use data, customer insights, and experimentation to validate commission models, optimize transaction flows, and drive measurable processing reliability and scalability improvements.
• Advocate for user and business needs, mentor team members, and foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement in FinTech systems.

Who you are

• 5+ years in product management with proven ownership of strategy, KPIs, and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in large datasets and driving results independently.
• Experience in FinTech, marketplaces, or travel is a plus.
• Skilled in aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders around a 12-month+ vision.
• Passion for solving customer problems through impactful features and improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
