Lead Product Manager - Deals job at Gong

At Gong, we’re building new-generation, machine-learning based software that automates big parts of customer-facing roles by “understanding” their conversations and related work.

Our solution guides sales professionals, coaches them on how to become better, performs tasks for them, and directs them to the best actions.

We’re growing rapidly and are seeking a Lead Product Manager for one of our main product areas: Deal Execution.

Our development is organized in independent business groups, so we are looking for someone who can join one of our leading product domains, take full ownership of this main product pillar, and build great products our customers will rave on.

You will:

Be a key leader in our “Deals” area.
Lead a group of product managers, each working with a dedicated product team (UX, Dev).
Work with customers, users, and internal parties to truly understand, map, and prioritize customer and user needs.
Be an expert and a thought leader in this area both inside and outside Gong, and drive the vision of next-generation deal execution and forecasting.
Drive the product planning and design process to help translate needs and vision into a solid product that performs, scales, and is easy to use.
Help communicate the product benefits and functionality to internal team members and outside parties.

You are:

A top-talent, experienced product manager leader, with a proven background in SaaS products (7+ years), and managing Product teams (3+ years)
Passionate about leading product teams, and creating and building new products.
Someone who can lead a team of senior PMs, driving strategic product directions, while being able to dive deep into the product domain.
Someone who enjoys being responsible and having a sense of ownership over the created product.
Someone with a good understanding of modern product-related processes, who can help define and fine-tune product lifecycle processes as the company grows.
Someone with strong UX skills with the ability to craft user journeys.
Someone who knows how to lead while empowering team members and helping them grow professionally
Ideally, someone with a good understanding of data and how to interpret it to improve products.
Fluent or very proficient in English.
