About the role

We’re looking for a Seasoned Product Manager to join our Onboarding & Conversion team. You will define product strategy for new member experiences and build product experiences that accelerate the growth of our business. The mission of this team is to help make Chime the primary financial partner for new members by helping them find immediate value, delight, and confidence. If this energizes you, let’s talk!

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $167,200.00 and up to $32,200.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Develop a deep understanding of our member needs, operational landscape and competitors.
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap to create new drivers and remove barriers for each new member to form a primary banking relationship with Chime.
  • Build and ship delightful new user experiences that showcase benefits to help members to engage and retain with Chime.
  • Work collaboratively with other product teams and functions like user research, engineering, design, compliance & marketing to build features collaboratively and inclusively.
  • Develop experiments and research plans to identify product opportunities and prioritize your roadmap.
  • Ship minimum-loveable-products that deliver a quality customer experience.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Strong Empathy for users and willingness to discover and resolve their pain points.
  • Deep curiosity. You enjoy going deep into the data, asking more “whys” in the qual, and you strive for a better understanding of what it means to meet users where they are.
  • An owner’s mentality - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff.
  • Willingness and judgment to make hard product prioritization decisions and ability to rapidly learn from mistakes.
  • Experience translating complex and frustrating concepts into simple, elegant, understandable experiences.
  • Strong collaboration in team environments but able to act quickly as the decision-maker
  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager with 3+ years as a growth product manager. FinTech experience is a plus.
