Lead Product Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cadre is seeking a Lead Product Manager who will be responsible for driving product features from inception through execution. You will have an opportunity to employ best practices of customer development, own your roadmap, and efficiently build new technology to accomplish our business objectives. You will work with our other Product Managers, Designers, and a dedicated Engineering team to execute your roadmap in 2-week sprints. You will also have access to a product analytics team to measure the success of your initiatives. 

In addition, you will work in close partnership with a wide-variety of functions, including but not limited to, the Commercial, Investments, Business Operations and Growth, and Finance teams. As a successful candidate, you have the ability to cultivate strategic and strong relationships with business partners. You also have strong leadership skills to manage through transformational change as it relates to people, process, policy, and technology and you are excited to make a large impact at a high-growth innovative fintech company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the ideation, development, delivery of product initiatives and releases
• Strategize feature roadmap and product vision
• Lead engineers, designers, data analysts and business stakeholders to define and optimize product features that enhance the Cadre platform
• Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases
• Conduct user/market research and detailed quantitative analysis and apply it to product strategy and planning
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure requirements are clear and objectives are met
• Manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Lead a development team through every phase of the product process: product discovery, wireframing, testing, development, launch, and optimization.
• Utilize project development tools in order to track, organize and optimize project progress

WHAT YOU HAVE

• A keen ability to empathize with customers, identify their needs, and creatively hypothesize / user-test various solutions to prioritize the right approach to solving their problems
• Experience taking multiple products (big and small) from inception to launch to iterative improvement
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work well with cross-functional teams as a leader and a collaborator; experience partnering with technical and non-technical teams
• Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a complex organization; able to think independently and challenge/escalate issues in an appropriate manner
• Commitment to work in high-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
• Excellent analytical capabilities, problem solving skills, and business acumen - ability to rapidly come up to speed on new issues and proactively identify the critical questions to be addressed 
• Highly organized; ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Experience being hands-on with the user experience and technical design processes for a new feature or product, with sound understanding of agile methodology
• Ability to incorporate strategies for growth and engagement into feature development
• 3-5 years of experience managing product development at a technology driven company; experience within financial products a plus, but not required
