The team
Our Product & Program Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

This position
As the Product Manager for the Agreement Cloud Platform, you develop the vision, roadmap and specifications for the underlying platform that will enable customers to do more with DocuSign beyond signature. Our platform team is responsible for building the future of DocuSign, enabling all the agreement cloud capabilities to be combined in any order to produce the workflows that power our customers’ business. And this will be the next generation platform that will enable our 3rd party ecosystem of partners to build solutions for the Agreement Cloud. Your role is to align teams around a new architecture for the Agreement Cloud and deliver on our Agreement Cloud vision.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

• Build the strategy and roadmap for various DocuSign product offerings
• Drive the vision and requirements, translate them to functional specifications, facilitate a sound design and deliver an efficient experience
• Leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to renewal and expansion
• Drive insights on the markets and segments in which these applications compete; stay abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate customer needs
• Profile and understand high value, innovative use cases purchased and implemented by a variety of industry customers
• Evaluate and prioritize requirements in partnership with sales, marketing, and product team leadership, leveraging industry best practices and new innovations
• Prioritize and manage a product backlog for effective release and sprint planning
• Facilitate requirements definition with design and engineering partners while identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managers
• Partner with Program Management, Design and Engineering to ensure product ships on time and to quality

Basic qualifications

• A technical degree in BA/BS/Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of experience with a technical Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of experience with a Master’s degree or 5+ years of experience with a PhD
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Engineering, IT, Operations, Program Management, Marketing, Sales and Customer Support
• Demonstrated success building/managing large-scale technology for a SaaS product

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working in B2B SaaS monetization teams
• Experience with payment or billing systems (e.g. Zuora, Apttus, etc.)
• Experience with GTM or Sales Operations
• Ability to design APIs for backend systems
• Ability to influence and collaborate in a matrixed environment having multiple stakeholders
