About the role 
You’ll work within the Product Design team, directly reporting to our VP of Product Design & User Research, and will be embedded within one or two Product squads (scopes TBD). We are looking for a Lead Product Designer, on an individual contributor (IC) level (not a people manager).

What you will do 
- Bring new ideas and innovate 
- Develop various UX/UI design solutions for our products that are usable, simple, intuitive for cross-platform applications
- Partner closely with Research, Data, Product, and Engineering to define problems, identify opportunities, and deliver improvements to existing products or introduce new features
- Imagine, build, measure and iterate on solutions to drive impact with the Product squads
- Animate co-creative workshops (ideation, design reviews, design critique etc.)
- Cultivate high engagement, performance, and commitment to the product teams to build collectively well-designed and appropriate best-in class solutions.

And especially as a lead product designer:
- Be a role model and mentor other senior product designers
- Contribute to the development of the product design team
- Participate in the acceleration of the team leveraging AI Convince VP and excom levels when presenting your Design rationales

Who you are
- You have at least 7+ years of product design experience
- Relevant product design experience with a focus on mobile apps and ideally Ecommerce experience (significant portfolio)
- As an accomplished Product Designer, you are highly-skilled in UX design and UI Design
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate orally and verbally design decisions and lead ideation within the squad
- You take feedback as a means of progress, you enjoy receiving and giving it.
- Experience in prototyping and usability testing is appreciated
- You’re familiar with Figma and using a design system
- You are fluent in English, our working language at Vestiaire Collective
