Lead Product Designer job at Veriff

The Product Design team is highly collaborative, working closely with customers and across multiple functions to bring different perspectives together to create the best possible solutions. They are a diverse, international design team of four designers hailing from different parts of the globe. Each designer partners with a dedicated product manager and engineering team in a specific area of our product.

You’ll become the expert and thought partner within the company, uncovering customer and market needs and delivering insights that will help us strategically expand our products. You will drive research and innovation projects that will redefine digital identity verification in the future. Our mission at the product design team is to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers and establish our products as the trusted hub for people’s identity.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need strong research skills, the ability to lead and collaborate in a remote environment, and an innovative mindset.

What you'll do:

Serve as a strategic partner to area leads, ensuring product concepts are valuable, usable, and feasible, and achieve desired business outcomes
Engage with and deeply understand our customers. You will lead customer and market research programs from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives and socialize learnings and applicable insights to the wider organization
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and leadership, contributing to vision setting and strategic direction
Take ideas from conception to design, building POCs and prototypes to test with customers and end users
Coach and mentor other product designers to maximize the potential of our design team
Actively contribute to ongoing improvements of the design teams processes, culture, and tools

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

Experience working in a fast-paced B2B SaaS company, ideally designing complex products.
Experience building 0 to 1 products.
Strong leadership skills, able to lead people and drive programs forward
A deep desire to learn everything about the industry and become an in-house expert. You’re curious and have a broad range of interests.
Strategic mindset with the ability to align design strategies with business goals and user needs, translating complex challenges into actionable plans
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, capable of effectively articulating insights and strategy to all levels of the organization
A knack for prioritizing work effectively and the ability to adapt quickly to changes
A collaborative mindset. You're humble, kind, and are open to feedback.
