Colorado base salary range: $144,600 - $182,300 and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.

The team
Our Product Experience team - Design, Information, and Insights - focuses on our customers and their business needs. We contribute from the concept all the way to the building of world-class product experiences by partnering with Product Managers, Program Managers, Software Engineers and other cross-functional teams. Together, we are a team of craftspeople who aim to make the complex look easy. We employ insights, pixels, and words to solve big problems and make delightful experiences.

This position
In this role, you would be part of the Product Experience team but your role would expand beyond Product and require you to establish and grow relationships across the organization. We are seeking a designer who is a leader and passionate about being customer-centric, skilled in communicating design value, and skilled in driving impact within a team and across an organization.

The right candidate will be equally skilled in facilitating thoughtful conversations with both internal stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and your product experience teammates. Transforming those conversations into detailed, yet feasible designs should be your focus. Additionally, you should be able to advocate for the value your design brings through research findings and your domain knowledge in the space you own.

This team also offers you the unique opportunity to work with all of the other teams, across DocuSign. As a Lead Designer, you will help shape the vision for the future of the Agreement Cloud, and drive alignment around that vision.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to Manager, Product Design and is designated Remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional team alignment through effective and proactive communication
• Participate in team project product vision work, illustrating the future direction of our product areas
• Drive teams to prioritize, execute and ship against multiple deadlines, developing processes as needed
• Design simple solutions for complex workflows including all design deliverables
• Create a cohesive cross-product experience including contributing to a style guide and pattern library
• Identify opportunities where research can inspire, optimize or evaluate the design
• Drive teams to prioritize, execute and ship against multiple deadlines, developing processes as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of designing consumer, enterprise and mobile user experiences for a large-scale web service
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members in design and usability

• Experience working on a fully remote team
• Portfolio of work inspired by user research demonstrating product design strategy, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, articulation of design rationale, strong communication and storytelling skills.
