🧑🏻‍💻 About the role

We are looking for an exceptional product design leader with strong technical and conceptualization skills. Someone ready to take our B2C initiatives to the next level and create products that impact the guest journey in the hospitality industry.

You will report to our B2C Design Director and work alongside Service Designers, UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers.

The position is entirely remote. We believe in the impact people can bring no matter where they are.

Requirements

👀 We are looking for an:

Strong and proactive design leader

You'll have the stage to think big and set the design strategy for the line alongside our B2C design director and PM, work closely with your design team incorporating insights, product requirements and engineering constraints, and communicate design definitions to a variety of stakeholders.

Collaborative mate

You'll coach and mentor your teammates, be a key actor in shaping our design culture and work closely with developers, product managers, and design peers to create world-class experiences.

Innovator by nature

You have passion and hunger for learning new things, implementing them, and sharing your knowledge. You'll have a be a design advocate within Mews and external forums.

📚Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring a product design team.
• 5+ years of total design experience, having worked in the B2C sector during this time is a plus.
• A diverse portfolio that showcases a solid design process creating B2C experiences and collaboration among your teammates.
• Highly skilled in Figma and other design tools for design and prototyping.
• Deep understanding of current UI patterns and the interconnection between design and development.
• Knowledge of research methods and other design disciplines.
• Experience in agile working environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience using and contributing to design systems.
• English on a fluent or conversational level.
• You are located in Europe.
