At Lightspark, our goal is to build meaningful payment infrastructure by building upon and extending the capabilities and utility of Bitcoin. We are starting by diving deep into the Lightning network. This new role is an important one for the business straddling product and marketing needs across the business.
We are looking for an experienced individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys exploring and iterating quickly, and can help us build out our culture of design & engineering excellence. This role requires collaborating with product, design, engineering, and marketing to help define not only our user experience but also help us tell our story across marketing channels.
What you’ll be doing:
Designing external and internal software for the suite of Lightspark products
Collaborating with external partners on integrations.
Conceptual design work for new business efforts
Helping clients integrate our product into their existing product (or helping create completely new experiences)
Develop brand and marketing materials: Creating visual assets for social media, advertising campaigns, promotional content, and other marketing materials to communicate our brand message effectively.
Ensuring branding consistency: Establishing and maintaining brand guidelines to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms and marketing materials.
Collaborating with marketing teams: Working closely with the marketing team to develop compelling narratives and visual stories that align with Lightspark's mission and values, enhancing brand awareness and engagement.
User research and testing: Conduct user and usability testing to inform design decisions, improve the overall user experience, and ensure that marketing materials resonate with target audiences.
Innovation in brand design: Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in design and marketing to bring innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to the brand
What we are looking for:
Passionate designer with 7+ years of mobile and desktop experience
Ability to lead and execute projects across three broad areas: Product design, new business efforts like conceptual integrations and sales pitches, and brand and marketing design.
Ability to consistently produce highly intentional and polished work.
Efficient and generative and can produce a lot of quality work quickly.
A desire to explore beyond the first decent solution.
Platform versatility and knowledge about designing for web, iOS, and Android.
Experience or interest in using AI to create marketing assets, both visual and written
Knowledge and capability in animation skills.
Strong communicator with a desire to learn and grow in a highly collaborative environment
Self-starter with positive energy
Living in, or willing to relocate, to Los Angeles, CA
