Lead Designer

At Cardiologs, our mission is to make tomorrow’s medical diagnosis efficient and accessible to everyone, anywhere, anytime. We leverage machine learning (AI) and cloud computing technologies to fulfill this vision. Our Cardiologs platform is a leading software for the analysis of ambulatory ECG used to help diagnose +900,000 patients every year. More recently, we launched a Remote Patient Monitoring solution in the US to help physicians streamline ECG reviews.

We are looking for a Lead Designer to lead the Design team made of two Product and one Brand designers (hiring). You will be hands-on, working on our full range of external and internal products (SaaS Platforms & mobile app). You will also oversee the overall branding efforts as well as be responsible for the team's internal organization and line management. You will be part of the Product team (8 people) and report to the Product Director.

- Be hands-on: build, prototype, and continually evolve the product suite throughout the life cycle (from research to low, medium, and high fidelity prototypes, testing, and specs)

- Make sense of complex information, user flows, and system architecture to deliver simple user experiences

- Clearly articulate your designs to the wider team (Designers, Product Managers, and Developers) in verbal and visual presentation

- Oversee multiple streams of work and drive holistic user experiences

- Manage, inspire and drive the work of a growing team of talented Product and Brand designers through support and guidance

- Work with the team to establish a strong design vision

- You have 5+ years of hands-on, product design experience, shipping digital products

- You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience in a broad range of skill sets including UX, visual, interaction, and workshop animation

- You have previous experience managing or leading teams

- You enjoy working on multiple projects with varying priorities and within multi-disciplinary teams while keeping the big picture in mind

- You have a strong interest in designing healthcare products

- You are fluent in English and French (you will work closely with English native speakers)

- Previous experience in a SaaS start-up environment

- Previous experience working on healthcare products
