Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and imaginative Lead Creative Content Writer to guide and elevate our content efforts within the Product Solutions Marketing team. This role goes beyond writing—you’ll lead the creative development of content that translates complex product capabilities into compelling, human-centered narratives that drive engagement and adoption. You will set the tone, define standards, mentor others, and shape the future of Tekion’s content voice across channels and audiences.

The ideal candidate combines storytelling excellence with creative leadership and a deep understanding of how content supports go-to-market success in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm, strategize, and create content that promotes products and services for partner programs within the Automotive Enterprise Cloud (AEC)
  • Write for a variety of short- and long-form channels: knowledge articles, scripts for training content, video, social media, emails, landing pages, white papers, and product collateral
  • Adjust tone and style to suit different formats, audiences (B2B and B2C), and partner brands
  • Collaborate with external Automotive Enterprise Cloud customers to understand objectives and connect with internal stakeholders including product, marketing, and creative teams to identify key messages and shape persuasive content
  • Interpret creative briefs from customers of AEC and brainstorming sessions to deliver compelling, clear messaging
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure all creative is aligned with brand and go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure all creative content is well-researched, strategically focused, and adheres to internal and partner brand standards
  • Embrace feedback and iterate quickly to improve content quality and performance
  • Champion the balance of creativity and business objectives in every deliverable
  • Build strong internal partnerships with product and product marketing to maintain consistent tone of voice across GTM content
  • Represent content strategy in cross-functional planning sessions, identifying storytelling opportunities that support strategic goals
  • Mentor and review content from other team members to uphold quality standards

Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability to translate technical jargon into compelling stories that connect business value to audience needs
  • Experience developing and maintaining content brand guidelines—or optimizing existing ones for consistency across channels
  • Skilled in concepting and executing across diverse content formats: presentations, one-pagers, video scripts, release notes, articles, and more
  • Strong desire to learn complex products and simplify them into digestible, audience-relevant narratives
  • Advocate for strong writing standards, content clarity, and brand tone alignment across all touchpoints
  • Exceptional listening skills and emotional intelligence; able to understand and act on stakeholder and partner feedback
  • Highly creative and strategic thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective, results-driven communications for diverse channels
  • Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
  • 6+ years of B2B writing experience, ideally in SaaS or technology sectors
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, strategic writing across a range of formats and use cases
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and adaptable
  • Familiarity with Tekion’s Automotive Enterprise Cloud (or strong ability to ramp up quickly on complex platforms)

The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. Base Salary Range
$84,000$140,000 USD
