Within the vpTech team and working together with the WMS (Warehouse Management System), Area 51 Product Owner, the WMS Software Implementation Specialist is responsible for the smooth running of the deployments entrusted to him.
Responsibilities
- Training and Support
- Documentation
- Evolving maintenance
Initial training of users of new processes and functionalities.
Spend the necessary time with the business counterparts to support them in the changes made (training, change management).
Responsible for the design of the standard operating procedures associated with the processes put in place for a given warehouse .
Maintain and update the functional documentation of the product as things evolve.
Understand the needs transmitted by the Business Process Owners and other business counterparts to translate them into user stories/ use cases.
Act as an intermediary between business users and the product team The design and preparation of end to end user acceptance tests for new features.
Participate in prioritization meetings in collaboration with the product team, Business Process Owner or business.
Profile
- Engineer or university education, preferably in logistics or supply
- You are rigorous, you have excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
- You can translate business needs into product requests
- You know how to manage priorities and are results oriented
- You have a strong appetite for IT tools
- SQL skills are an asset but can be acquired or developed internally
- Fluent in French and English (training for French teams)
- Beginner or at least 2 years experience
- Are prepared to travel regularly to the group's warehouses (Mainly in France and Belgium)
Plus points
- Experience with the implementation of a warehouse or warehouse management system
- Experience in the domain of logistics
