This strategic role places you at the heart of our efforts, aligning and intensifying our insight gathering processes in collaboration with Market Research and Product Marketing teams. • Collaborate with product leadership to identify and prioritize research needs for strategic initiatives, taking ownership of the research roadmap.
  • Communicate effectively the purpose and impact of your team, illustrating how these efforts align with and support Babbel’s broader mission.
  • Ensure the highest quality of your team’s output by coaching and developing both individual contributors and managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

You have:

  • Proven leadership in managing research teams, with at least 7 years of experience in user research at a product-driven company.
  • Strong methodological knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for presenting complex data in a clear and persuasive manner to various stakeholders.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a user-centered design approach and a track record of impactful research outcomes in product development.
  • Passion for learning and advancing the field of user research, with a commitment to mentoring and developing team members.
  • A collaborative spirit and experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Some perks of becoming a Babbelonian:

  • Enjoy 30 vacation days and the chance to take a 3-month Sabbatical. Plus family and life situation counseling.
  • Decide how, when and from where you want to work with our flexible working hours and remote friendly options as Jobbatical (up to 3 months inside the EU) or work from our fully equipped office with nap, faith and family rooms.
  • Learn and grow with the internal learning opportunities, and use a yearly learning & development budget for external training. Learn languages with Babbel for free with your full access to Babbel & Babbel Live classes.
  • Take advantage of your mobility benefits options and a discounted Urban Sports Club membership.
  • Be part of our employee communities (such as Femgineers, DE&I Ambassadors and LGBTQIA groups), attend cultural and regular social events.
