The Rounds is the portal for managing everything that comes in/out of your home, i.e. your AI-powered personal Psychic Home Manager. As the Head of Production & Fulfillment, you will play a critical role in building the framework for two-way logistics by overseeing and enhancing the operational efficiency and quality of our distribution and fulfillment centers. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, your leadership will be instrumental in developing our hub-and-spoke strategy and elevating the end-to-end fulfillment process. You will lead efforts to ensure that our key focus areas—including inventory management, production, regulatory compliance, and reuse operations—achieve their highest potential. Working closely with the cross-functional leadership team, you will ensure that we prioritize the right opportunities to drive significant improvements in our fulfillment operations and support the company’s growth plan by embodying the culture of operational excellence.

You will:

  • Design and implement warehouse, production and reuse processes, configuration, mechanization, and automation to create an effective and efficient fulfillment operation 
  • Implement processes to exceed food safety standards, improve product quality and fulfillment accuracy, enhance operational efficiency, and develop best-in-class inventory management processes.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to track and report on performance of processes and transform data into actionable insights and recommendations 
  • Design and implement strategies for reducing costs across all operational facets without sacrificing quality or safety.
  • Facility Roadmap: Create our distribution and fulfillment center prototypes to facilitate expansion and scalability.
  • Cultivate a High-Performance Team and Culture: Launch comprehensive programs to enhance employee capabilities in safety, efficiency, and leadership while fostering an engaging and motivating team culture

You are:

  • Experience in managing and leading large-scale process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and / or Six Sigma 
  • An innovator in process automation, with expertise in automation design and implementation, particularly within food production or warehouse environments. 
  • A strong leader, skilled in cross-functional stakeholder management, change management, and communication.
  • Team-oriented with a track record of leading large teams and cultivating collaborative partnerships at all levels and departments of an organization
  • Strategic and able to recognize and resolve situations that are ambiguous or challenging and use logic to identify alternatives, evaluate, and present approaches to solving complex problems while thinking in terms of contingency plans
  • Data-driven in your decision-making approach and detail oriented
  • Proficient with Google Workspace applications, specifically Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.

You have:

  • At least 10 years of management experience leading and scaling a high growth fulfillment operations center, ideally in the food service, food production, or kitting sectors.
  • Experience in Fulfillment, Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, and Warehousing, with a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards such as FSMA, HACCP, SQF.
  • Expertise in inventory control management and the development or improvement of warehouse management or inventory tracking systems. Experience with WMS implementation is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean and Agile Production methodologies.
