Head of Product Strategy job at Capital

We are seeking a Head of Product Strategy to join our team in London.

Reporting to the CPO, this role is the fulcrum between our commercial and product/engineering teams.

They will build out cases for proposed new initiatives with commercial leaders and work closely with Product Managers to make those plans reality, while also designing and driving the execution of new processes and strategies within Product as build out our infrastructure.

What will you do:

Act as a counterpart to various regional and commercial stakeholders to understand their needs, derive business cases, and distil their requests down to what matters most
Constantly analyse our organisation for gaps, then fill those gaps. Design new structures or processes, get stakeholder buy-in, then lead them until they’re self-sufficient
Create and maintain models of new products or initiatives when needed
Create and lead a small Product Operations team to further increase efficiency within the wider product organisation
Drive our product prioritisation process through our roadmap, presenting to leadership and keeping major stakeholders informed.

Goals:

Facilitate transparency and communication between Product and Commercial teams
Drive subject matter expertise within the Product team. Stay on top of the competitive landscape and help keep us focused on always chasing those priorities that set us apart.

We expect:

Minimum of 5 years experience in CFD, Stock or Crypto products
Experience leading teams and record that balances individual contribution with making those around you better
Next level organisational skills and ability to model those across a diverse team
You must have the ability and desire to communicate in written and spoken English (English B2+)
Experience managing high performing teams across a variety of physical locations, experience levels, and cultural backgrounds.
