Your future team
We're looking for a seasoned product management executive to join Atlassian's ITSM product management leadership team! As the leader of our IT Operations-focused initiatives, you will help shape the future of Atlassian's fastest growing product, Jira Service Management.

What you'll do
You will lead a team of passionate Product Managers and partner deeply with your peers in Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Research.                                           

This is the chance to set the direction for an important part of our business, making some hard trade-offs and navigating a challenging but super rewarding space.

You must be adept at working with geographically dispersed teams to align strategy and execution. You will also join forces with various platform and product teams to consume and empower core functionality, playing as a team of teams and influencing multiple departments with your organisation's vision.This work will directly impact tens of thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of users.

Your Background

  • 10+ years of experience leading product strategy and direction for Enterprise/B2B software products
  • Domain expertise in ITSM, IT Operations or adjacent markets is highly advantageous
  • Strong engineering / technical background and understanding of technical architecture
  • Track record of managing and scaling product teams, including leading leaders and working with geographically dispersed product teams
  • Significant experience leading and growing product leaders
  • Customer Obsession! Ability to steer a team of 300+ professionals across design, product management, and engineering to ship impactful products that solve customer and business problems
  • Have overseen an end to end a customer/ market facing product, with experience leading multiple streams of work with multiple teams and roadmaps
  • Ability to paint a compelling vision to inspire your teams and partners
  • Deep understanding of building solutions to meet the needs of enterprise customers
  • Ability to communicate directly and clearly with executives, with a strong emphasis on careful listening
  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. Comfortable defining and tracking key business and usage success metrics
  • Thought leader in product craft - someone who is excited about furthering the art of product management
  • Relevant domain expertise in Dev / DevOps a plus
