Reporting into: Chief Product Officer
At Deliverect we’re the global expert in food tech, powering the future of food ordering. We are a global ecosystem of on and off-premise solutions for digital food sales. Our API-first software helps your favourite restaurants and retailers to sell anywhere and deliver everywhere.
Role Summary
As the Head of Product Operations - at Deliverect, you will lead the day to day functions of our product management department, ensuring that it runs smoothly, efficiently, and is driven by data. This role combines team leadership with operational excellence—bringing structure, optimizing processes, supporting go-to-market execution, managing pricing documentation, and driving a strong product feedback loop. You will play a key role in scaling the product organization and fostering cross-functional alignment across the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process & Operational Efficiency and Execution:
Define and maintain standard operating procedures for the product management team: optimize workflows & templates and implement best practices in roadmap planning, sprint cadences and release processes to ensure teams stay aligned.
Monitor the roadmap execution, removing roadblocks proactively.
Ensure cross-functional coordination between Product, Design, Engineering, GTM and Marketing to improve execution.
Own and improve product documentation processes and knowledge management, ensuring clarity and consistency across teams.
2. Executive-Level Reporting & Insights
Prepare operational dashboards and reports, ensuring visibility into product performance, team efficiency and key metrics.
Track and analyze product OKRs and KPIs, identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement.
Support leadership with board-level presentations and product insights by compiling structured data and reports.
3. Product Feedback Loop & Market Insights
Aggregate and structure customer insights from Sales, Customer Success and Support teams to help refine product direction.
Track competitor activity and synthesize competitive intelligence reports for product leadership.
Work with the data team to ensure the right product usage metrics and feedback loops are in place to drive decision-making (both for Product as for GTM).
4. Supporting Pricing & GTM Execution at a Global Scale
Ensure that pricing decisions are well-documented and backed by data before rollout.
Standardize and automate product marketing deliverables, internal training materials and GTM collateral for new product releases.
Track the success of product launches, gathering insights on adoption, revenue impact and market reception.
Establish and maintain accessible, up-to-date documentation that is used effectively across teams.
5. Leadership & Team Development
Provide strong and inspiring day-to-day leadership to a globally distributed product management team.
Coach and mentor team members to support their growth and development, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with the Chief Product Officer to ensure team goals align with strategic priorities, and help drive clarity, focus, and high performance across the organization.
The ideal candidate:
8(ish) years of experience in product operations or a related field (but we value attitude and demonstrable results over the amount of years on your resume).
Shows the courage to challenge existing processes and drive innovative solutions.
Demonstrates a strong customer-centric mindset.
Excels in strategic thinking and the ability to plan smart and translate plans into swift execution.
Drives collaboration and actively contributes to team success.
Has proven experience in leading and mentoring teams.
Possesses excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Has Experience working in a global SaaS environment.
While knowledge of the POS, third-party delivery platforms, payment processing systems, and the food tech industry would be a significant asset, we value the right attitude and aptitude for learning above all else.
Additional Information
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days a week in our Amersfoort office and two days a week from the comfort of your home.
Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills being essential.
