As a Head of Product, Mobile at Via, you will be taking a significant leadership position, reporting directly to the CPO, responsible for overseeing the entire mobile platform at Via. The role has a global scope, with a focus on managing the rider and driver mobile experiences. The primary goal is to create a best-in-class mobile system that drives exceptional interaction and end value for customers. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the vision and strategy for our next-generation mobile platform - this is your opportunity to define how millions of riders and drivers engage with our product.
  • Lead and scale a high-performing mobile product team, starting with a talented core group of five, with the potential to grow as we expand.
  • Develop and execute a mobile roadmap that delivers seamless, intuitive experiences for both riders and drivers - two distinct user journeys, one powerful platform.
  • Drive product innovation -  use data, user research, and bold thinking to push boundaries and create mobile experiences that are not only functional but delightful.
  • Create a flexible app strategy tailored to diverse market needs - imagine an “app of record” that becomes essential in each location we serve.
  • Oversee everything from the front-end UI to the back-end systems, including robust API integrations and third-party partnerships.
  • Hands-on involvement in design - collaborate closely on UI/UX, ensuring every interaction is smooth, intuitive, and user-first.

Who You Are:

  • An experienced and exceptional leader with a track record of inspiring teams, shipping standout mobile products, and turning big ideas into scalable realities.
  • 10+ years of product management experience across both fast-moving startups and large tech companies, giving you a sharp understanding of what it takes to move quickly and at scale.
  • Proven track record of building mobile platforms at scale, used by millions
  • Strong expertise in UI development, full-stack systems, and API integration, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
  • User-focused, thriving on solving real-world problems through user-first thinking, especially in high-engagement spaces like mobility, on-demand services, or marketplaces
