Founded in 2018 in Dublin by experienced security engineers, Tines makes enterprise automation simple. Security and operations teams are too often stuck doing manual, repetitive tasks, and we want to change that. Tines is an automation platform designed to allow anyone to automate any manual task, regardless of complexity. No apps, plugins, or custom code required. With 1,000+ template options for common security actions, Tines is power and simplicity through direct integration with your existing tools.

Now a well-funded, early-stage start-up, Tines is backed by some of the world’s most respected investors and trusted by the world's leading security teams to streamline security automation work. We’re scaling quickly and building our team for the journey. We guarantee lots of challenges, growth and learning as well as the opportunity to be part of a world class team.

As Head of Product Marketing, you will shape and mold how the world sees Tines and our product. You will make the connection between what we are building and the value our product creates for customers – helping us to sell what we build, and to build what we sell.

Our ideal candidate is a talented storyteller with a knack for clarity and simplicity. You’re capable of translating complex, technical features and use cases, and explaining them in a surprisingly simple manner. You know how to put those explanations to work in various settings from web pages, to internal sales materials to events.

You will report directly to our Global Head of Marketing & Product Management and interface frequently with leadership and teams throughout Go-To-Market and Product. Initially, this position will be an individual contributor role, but we’re looking for a leader who’s ready to build and grow their own team in the near future.

This role is ideal for someone based in Boston, where we have an office, but we’re open to all US-based candidates in the EST timezone.

What you will be doing:

  • Act as the primary owner of Tines’ positioning and messaging strategies and frameworks.
  • Continuously improve our website to reflect our evolving positioning, messaging, and overall business strategies.
  • Plan and execute product launches, driving customer acquisition and adoption.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, and articulate why Tines stands out.
  • Map complex product concepts and features into understandable customer and market value.
  • Be an expert on our core prospect audience – primarily Security teams in progressive technology companies.
  • Play a central role in determining how we package and price our products.
  • Collaborate with our product, design, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to communicate our solutions and product to the market.
  • Support and enable sales teams with the information/resources they need (playbooks, customer stories, competitive differentiation) to effectively position Tines, overcome objections, and sell throughout the funnel.
  • Act as the conduit between sales and product to ensure Tines software meets the needs of new and existing customers.
  • Support awareness of Tines on webinars, in public speaking engagements, and in written communications.
  • Nurture, support, develop, and grow a team of product marketers.

What you bring with you:

  • Several years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a high-growth B2B company.
  • Experience in growing, developing, and leading product marketing teams.
  • An ability to build strong partnerships with product and sales teams, and to influence a product roadmap.
  • A strong customer focus, with experience in generating qualitative and quantitative insights to inform your product marketing strategies.
  • Robust experience in marketing software to technical audiences.
  • A passion for understanding complex technical concepts and turning them into easy-to-grasp stories.
  • A history of developing, mentoring and growing talent with a focus on professional development.
  • An open-minded, iterative approach, with a willingness to change and experiment.
  • An ability to motivate and effect change, taking others with you.
  • An outstanding track record of delivery.
  • A bias towards action and sense of curiosity.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Tines provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.
