Summary

As the Head of Product Management for our Machine Learning & Data Platform Group, you will be leading the product vision, roadmap and team for our suite of machine learning and data products, which include ML systems that power intelligent features like Recommendations and Search, data infrastructure, analytics platform and communications platform. You will partner closely with ML engineers, data engineers and backend engineers who are just as passionate about data and ML as you are, to make sure that data remains the backbone of Fast and our products.

Role

Be the data advocate who deeply understands how we can deliver intelligent solutions to our customers
Lead product vision, strategy, roadmap planning & execution for Recommendations, Search, communications platform (email, SMS, etc), analytics platform, and data infrastructure
Work closely with other product teams to understand their data needs, and product needs that require ML support, to design and build solutions in partnership
Ensure data is kept safe and secure, while helping everyone at the company get access to the data they need to do their job
Drive product prioritization and cross-functional alignment in a rapidly evolving startup environment
Find ways to stay close to our customers so that we always build backwards from their needs and pain points

Requirements

7+ years of product management experience delivering successful software products
Proven track record managing a high-performing product management team and delivering products with significant quantifiable impact
Ability to effectively communicate across business teams, leadership and tech teams
Strong data background and experience working with ML and data engineers
Ability to make difficult tradeoffs, to always keep focus on the most important things
Ability to switch context quickly and wear many hats without losing a step
Ability to work collaboratively with numerous partner teams to deliver products, and earn trust quickly across many stakeholders
Relentless customer obsession
