Head of Product

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Product who is excited to guide a team of high-performing product managers while remaining hands-on, close to the details, and always thinking critically to define the path forward! 

As the Head of Product, you will be working directly with our C-suite to drive product strategy across card issuing and banking. This individual will work with stakeholders across finance, partnerships and engineering and will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of the Lithic platform, as well as driving forward complete product lifecycle from discovery to bringing new products to market.  Experience in B2B, Fintech, developer-focused or complex products in regulated environments is preferred, but not required.

What You'll Do:

• Define and align product vision, strategy, and execution to Lithic’s overall business goals.
• Grow the Lithic customer base and transaction volume by defining & driving every aspect of our infrastructure and card issuing products from developing the roadmap/backlogs/iterations in order to hit your goals & KPIs.
• Guide the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, driving new product development, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, usage, and reliability to support growth.
• Collaborate with Engineering to plan, build, and launch features; facilitate communication, organization, and task and resource management from concept through launch.
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation.
• Define Product goals, KPI’s and success metrics for measure, and evaluate the impact of product efforts.
• Effectively collaborate and build strategy with key partners and stakeholders throughout Lithic, including Engineering,Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment on overall business objectives. 
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Who You Are: 

• You are a seasoned product leader with a proven track record taking products from ideation to execution in an ambiguous environment.
• You are detail-oriented, understanding the importance of well defined, intuitive and thorough user experiences through multiple user channels.
• You are creative and adaptable, defining out of the box and novel solutions to broad user needs, sometimes with limited data.
• You are technically minded with the ability to work with the software development team to design product solutions that will drive best-in-class digital experiences.
• You are proactive, taking the initiative to partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and deliver product solutions that increase quality, user growth, and revenue.

What You Bring:

• 8-12+ years experience in Product Management or product adjacent roles (could include engineering, strategy, system architecture, etc) with an emphasis on technical and enterprise products.
• 4+ years of management experience and demonstrated success in building, managing, and scaling teams. 
• Experience guiding company best practices around product management and product organizational effectiveness
• Experience in the Payments or Card Issuing industry preferred
• Experience with product exploration and go to market, product design, product planning and development.
• Experience in a hyper growth startup environment preferred

Base salary range for US Candidates: $235,000 - $297,000/year
