Who we are

To address the scale needed by the rapid pace of software growth, companies need security tools that are automated and don’t require lengthy manual analysis to sift out false positives. Our focus at ForAllSecure is to build the next-generation of security products that change how companies develop, test and deploy software.

Our tool, Mayhem, a fully autonomous cybersecurity system, was built utilizing over 12 years of research at Carnegie Mellon University and developed by a team of some of the best white-hat hackers in the world. In 2016, DARPA hosted the Cyber Grand Challenge, the world’s first all-machine hacking tournament, in which Mayhem competed and took first place against industry and best challengers from academia. Since then, we have been bringing this product to market. The Mayhem solution makes software validation testing radically simpler with a powerful combination of intelligent fuzzing, symbolic execution, and checking of static security indicators. 

To date, Mayhem has found vulnerabilities in multiple open source projects, components in production aircraft, and critical flaws in embedded devices. This is only the beginning, as we plan to have Mayhem bring automation, usability and scalability to testing of all of the world’s commercial and government software projects.

What you'll do

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Head of Product with a strong understanding of the developer persona, and  experience setting, measuring, and optimizing product adoption and retention KPIs.This role will begin as a team of one, with the expectation that you’ll scale the product function over time.

This position reports to the CEO.

Specifically you will:

• Build and maintain a deep understanding of Mayhem’s position in the broader application security and DevSecOps market
• Perform competitive research and analysis
• Set and maintain the product roadmap, and ensure timely delivery.
• Creating and maintaining the UX design, requirements, and effectiveness with respect to onboarding, retention, and growth.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure seamless customer experiences during product releases, renewals, and customer conversations.
• Gather and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and other stakeholders to shape product direction and release scope
• Balance the competing demands of innovation, quality, architectural/operational improvements & customer feedback, and show ROI on your decisions.

Requirements

• Expertise in UX for the DevOps, DevSecOps, and/or AppSec markets
• Experience with telemetry tools and frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• A deep understanding of the developer ecosystem, including familiarity with various programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• 10+ years experience in product management, with at least 5 in a leadership role. Preferably in a startup environment. 
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
