About the Role
As a Product Lead at Finalis, you’ll be responsible for product planning, scoping, and execution across all three product lines. You'll work across multiple stakeholders at Finalis to explore problem spaces and help define concrete projects for the product engineering team to tackle to unlock Finalis’ growth as a business.
We create products for three major user groups – our clients, our compliance team, and our servicing team.
Clients: Our clients are boutique investment banks, placement agencies and independent dealmakers across the U.S. The dealmaking back office is complex, involving compliance, productivity tools like virtual data rooms, and business development. It should be quick and easy for clients to keep Finalis’ compliance officers apprised of all compliance items, manage their deals across their lifecycle, and grow revenue by identifying new deals and exploring co-brokerage opportunities.
Compliance: Compliance is the backbone of a broker-dealer’s operation. Compliance officers at Finalis require a dashboard environment that will enable them to centrally organize the information they need to make well informed and high quality decisions for Finalis’ clients. It should be quick and easy for compliance officers to communicate with clients, have information regarding clients in a central location, render high quality compliance decisions based on that information, and generate reports on clients and deals.
Servicing: This team includes account managers and operations specialists responsible for providing stellar service to our clients outside of compliance. They are the backbone of the company since the quality and efficiency of their work directly translate into year-over-year retention of Finalis' clients.
We value collaboration with cross-functional peers and encourage them to work directly with us in exploring their issues and how a combination of product, process and systems may help them progress towards their goals.
