The opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Product Design and Insights to lead our product design and analytics team towards innovative and usable design solutions that address our customer needs and desires. You'll report to the CPO.
🎯 Your missions:
Lead and Inspire a growing team
- Mentor and manage a team of 2 Product Designers throughout their day-to-day design work to deliver high-quality design in a timely manner. At times, participate as an individual contributor in the design process
- Manage 1 Senior Product Analyst and later 1 User Researcher to deepen our understanding of Virtuo’s customers, their behaviours and mental models;
Be an active member of the Product team
- Collaborate with Product and Tech leadership to drive vision and strategy
- Collaborate with other functional roles in order to realize Omio’s product vision in delightful consumer experiences;
- Contribute to creating a culture at Virtuo that is aware of the unique value design brings to the company.
Product delivery
- Ensure the shipment of high quality, consistent consumer experiences by working in close collaboration with software engineers and product managers;
- Direct the development and maintenance of our branded Design System;
Product Discovery & Analytics
- Perfect knowledge of our user pain points, motivations and needs through qualitative research side by side with the UX (interviews, focus groups, customer service…) - Being on the field and being empathic is compulsory for this tribe.
- Nurture a data-driven experimental process, both hands-on in the data and collaborating with analysts to uncover opportunities, test hypotheses, and prioritize the roadmap.

🌟 This role is perfect for you if:
As a Head of Product Design and Insights you have :
- 8+ years’ experience with a major web, product development or consulting firm in the digital product and/or service design space.
- 2-4 years experience managing and mentoring Product Designers;
- Experience in translating design research, strategic market positioning, technical requirements in a specific design direction, including visuals and interactions;
- Ability to lead a product design team throughout all phases of a design project, from early ideation to detailed execution and shipping;
- Experience in building and managing large branded design systems
