Head of Product, Cloud

About the Role:

Redpanda is seeking a Head of Product, Cloud to report directly to the VP of Product, to drive and execute Redpanda’s cloud product strategy and roadmap. This leader will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the cloud product business by aligning GTM motions, influencing and collaborating with customers, defining the product roadmap and prioritization, and working closely with our engineering teams. This strategic and high-impact leader will hire, inspire and manage senior product managers, and partner closely with leaders in product and cross functional teams in engineering, marketing, sales and customer success to deliver innovative, differentiated, product solutions for our targeted customers. As Head of Product, Cloud, you will provide operational leadership and be a critical asset in shaping the future of the business and company.

You will:

• Lead and execute cloud product strategy, GTM, pricing, and SaaS margin analysis and management
• Obsess over developer experience and influencing product direction
• Establish and nurture deep relationships with engineering, sales, customer success, and marketing to gather customer requirements, drive priorities, and deliver solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of customers’ pain points and needs to help incorporate requirements into product initiatives and deliverables
• Manage communications between key stakeholders on product goals, requirements, and deliverables to ensure accountability and alignment between engineering, sales and all the stakeholders
• Stay current on industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities or enhance current product capabilities and offerings
• Attract, hire, and build a diverse and inclusive team of world class product managers 

You have:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS platforms in product leadership roles
• Software development and/or operations background required in infrastructure or storage systems; aptitude with strong empathy for the developer experience
• Shipped enterprise-grade feature sets for infrastructure products and services, especially distributed systems
• Worked on cloud operations (provisioning, management, pricing) for IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS platforms
• Worked with public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native infrastructure; managed Kubernetes experience on one of more cloud (EKS and/or GKE)
• Startup and rapid growth experience
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to evangelize product vision across organizations on customer/user’s perspective
• Ability to communicate complex information succinctly, both verbally and in writing
• Experience growing and developing a team of product managers
• Self starter with a "no task is too big or small" attitude
