Head of Product, Card program job at Capital

Requirements:

Experience in launching/running card products before.
Clear understanding of card program infrastructure components (core banking, card processing, etc)
Experience of user research to identify customer problems, validate hypothesis and test product features.
Product design skill set including prototyping using wireframe and sequence diagram tools, good user story telling.
Data analytical skill. Ability to design product performance dashboard, optmize the product using data driven approach, conduct regular benchmarking vs key player on the market.
Good understanding of the risk, compliance frameworks in the card industry.
Understating reconciliation and settlement in the card industry.
Background building and leading cross disciplinary product development teams
Strong track record of hiring, mentoring and making those around them better

Good to have:

Knowledge about the cryptocurrency industry. Being crypto native
Deep insight into marketing and business development activities.
Experience working directly with schemes on card issuing programs.

The key tasks of the role will include:

Take ownership over specific Card Products and manage them through their entire lifecycle.
Manage the roadmap for your products, ensuring key stakeholders have provided input into the roadmap and that key requirements are accounted for.
Carry out frequent reviews of the roadmap and optimise delivery sequencing.
Work closely with the Head of Technology (Banking and Card products) to define and drive the features and capabilities backlog.
Coordinate internal team as well as external contractors to make sure that the project is meeting the deadlines.
Coordinate product launches, providing key stakeholders such as Marketing, Operations, Support and related product teams with the documentation and training they need to make the product a commercial success.
Act as the subject matter expert in your product area, and present plans and insights to the wider audience at group level.
