The Role
As we continue to scale, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Product to lead our BX (Buyer Experience) team, focusing on expanding Printify’s e-commerce platform to help individuals and businesses create and operate online stores.
The Head of Product for BX will oversee the creation and optimization of the Buyer experience in Printify, which enables merchants to create and operate online stores to sell their merchandise.
The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and a deep understanding of customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management, a customer-centric mindset, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Your responsibilities
- Ownership:
- Lead the BX product team: Product, Engineering, Design, and Research to deliver world-class buyer journeys and help our sellers connect with their audience.
- Own the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on business goals and buyers' needs.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of the BX domain to support new business verticals and storefronts.
- Drive the implementation of core functionalities, including payments, risk management, and order flow.
- Product Management:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy for the pillar.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and measure product success.
- Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and innovation within the product team.
- Business Knowledge:
- Understand the e-commerce landscape, including market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Align product initiatives with business objectives, ensuring they contribute to overall company growth and profitability.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and integrate them into the product development process.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support merchant success and drive revenue.
- Customer Centricity:
- Champion the voice of the buyer's needs in all product decisions.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to deeply understand customer pain points and opportunities.
- Develop features and experiences that delight users and drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging mobile user experience, focusing on end-customer activation and retention.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, merchants, and third-party service providers.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress effectively to all stakeholders.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to drive cohesive and integrated product solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience working as a Senior/Principal Product Manager or Head of Product with a proven track record of building and launching successful products.
- Extensive experience in B2C and creating buyer experience
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
- Proficiency in using data-driven insights to make informed product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with discovery and experimentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
- Passion for innovation, creativity, and staying updated with industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
