As the Head of Product Analytics for Indigo, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer with the goal of bringing visibility into the performance across our websites and native apps for all our product portfolio. This requires working effectively with the product team to define KPIs and providing guidance and expertise to product teams on analytical best practices. Your role will be the key to establishing analytical processes and practices that are consistent across all products enabling us in streamlining our product analytics reporting for driving actionable insights. You will be prioritizing the development of product analytics data marts with the data engineering leads and establishing a complete, accurate and well-maintained event stream for our online products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the stakeholder management with the product team for defining product KPIs.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the product team on how to effectively drive insights from online user activity data. 
  • Build product analytics best practices & processes across the product organization.
  • Bring your product domain knowledge to the data engineering team and gather requirements for them to build foundational product analytics data assets. 
  • Work closely with the software engineering leads to ensure complete, accurate and stable tracking of user activities on our online products. 
  • Build systems to proactively monitor tracking performance, detect anomalies and put out quick-fix solutions to repair tracking. 
  • Effectively communicate your findings, suggestions and improvement ideas to the product, software engineering and data engineering teams to establish a streamlined product analytics process at Indigo. 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in product analytics or related experience with a proven track record of delivering analytical value from online user activity data.
  • Experience proactively identifying business areas where analytics can add value. 
  • Ability to balance stakeholder expectations and technical feasibility for data products, clearly articulating tradeoffs.
  • Proven track record of defining, designing, building and maintaining analytical solutions that provide streamlined self-service reporting to business & product teams. 
  • Excellent cross-functional communicator, able to work with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business needs into analytics roadmap, technology specifications and use cases.
  • Decisive and well-informed decision-maker.
  • Proactively brings new ideas to the table, spanning people, process and product.
