We’re seeking a highly motivated & experienced Head of Product Analytics to join our product group in building our product.

As the Head of Product Analytics, you’ll play a key role in taking our data-centric approach by Leveling up the product analytics area. That will include growing the team, establishing processes and methodologies, and creating a platform that works smoothly and at scale.

Product Analytics at Gong is unique in that it incorporates not just usage data (as is customary with SaaS vendors), but also includes mining design partners’ business data to suggest new insight types and recommendations, which are then integrated as product features.

You will:

Lead Product Analytics and provide guidance to each of our product domains
Manage talented and experienced product analysts
Influence change by presenting product and customer data-driven insights to product management and senior leadership; present the outcome of your analysis and provide expert consultation to executives.
Act as the “right hand” of product and business leaders in building business cases for new product functionality, and track the effectiveness of the functionality over time; monitor key metrics, identify business trends and generate forecasts
Lead deep-dive analysis that will frame product strategy and product roadmap decisions
Drive our data-centric, continuous learning culture with your data storytelling expertise, and grow our best practices around reporting quality, data hygiene, and data governance

You have:

4+ years of proven experience in a similar position, preferably at a startup or management consulting firm
Proven experience managing large (min 6) analyst teams
BA in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Economics, etc.); MBA preferred
Vast experience in creating and maintaining dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Sisense, or similar
Confirmed ability to surface key insights and/or predictive forecasting models that subsequently drive business changes with measurable lifts in performance
A passion for producing high-quality, accurate analytics deliverables
Creativity and strategic thinking
