As the Head of Design, you will grow and mentor a team of designers. You will work with a variety of functions on a day-to-day basis to facilitate the success of the product and its commercialization. You will also drive programs to elevate the visual communication of our company mission and values across every potential surface.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, manage, and mentor a team of designers – product designers, visual designers, user researchers, and more.
- Translate company goals to design objectives.
- Create structure and processes to enable close collaboration with product, engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales.
- Develop and manage the Medallion brand and its presentation on the website, sales collateral, slide decks, etc.
- Collaborate with marketing to produce targeted one-pagers, email campaigns, and more.
- Own ad hoc design projects (like investor presentations)
We are looking for someone who has:
- 8+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of experience managing and building design teams
- Fullstack experience with (or experience managing) product design, brand design, and user research
- An appetite to learn about the complex healthcare processes we service
Nice to haves:
- Experience designing for clinicians
- Experience designing at an enterprise SaaS company
