Botify is hiring a Head of Design, reporting to the Chief Product Officer, to lead our team of product designers in Paris, France.

We are looking for a leader who has built and scaled design organizations in start-up / scale-up environments, with a passion for solving customer problems and developing other designers. Candidates must be creative problem solvers, strong communicators, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based, and results-focused environment.

What you wiil do:

Lead, manage and mentor a team of 6 Product Designers;
Cultivate an environment of diversity, transparency, and trust where designers can feel empowered to share ideas, be challenged, and fulfill their potential;
Foster a design culture that encourages user research, product usage analytics, rapid design experimentation, and strong collaboration across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success;
Own the design strategy across the Botify suite of products;
Be responsible for the overall design quality and the consistent achievements of our outcomes;
Develop empathy for our users’ pain points and let their needs and actions guide us to the best solutions;
Promote an outstanding design practice and ensure strong execution;
You are still hands-on and can occasionally lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle.

Who you are:

You have at least 10 years of experience designing web applications, ideally for marketing or analytics solutions, and you’re interested in technical applications;
You are an experienced leader, manager, and mentor of a team of designers, with at least 3+ years of directly managing and building design organizations;
Passionate about design thinking and collaborative modern product management;
Great communicator in both English and French. You know how to inspire audiences at all levels, including peers and executives;
Well-versed in collaborative design techniques, workshop facilitation, rapid prototyping, UI design, user research, design systems, and information architecture;
You’re a team player with a sense of humor, and a desire to learn and share in an ego-free environment.
