We’re looking for a Head of Design & Research Operations to build and manage our design & research operations team by creating scalable processes and managing tools that enable us to be operationally efficient. What you'll do
- Build and manage the design & research operations team
- Partner with the design and research leadership team to create and execute a strategy and vision for the operations function
- Own the research team’s participant recruitment process
- Ensure that our processes and tools are efficient and compliant while providing a delightful end-user experience
- Identify, document, and evangelize best practices
- Create scalable processes that will enable our design & research team to be operationally efficient
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage tools
- Partner with cross-functional partners to ensure that the team is fiscally responsible and legally compliant
- Oversee vendor management for the design & research team
- Manage the budget in collaboration with the design and research leadership team, as well as the finance team
- Communicate the status of design and research projects and initiatives across the company
Who you are
- You have professional experience in design operations or research operations (ideally both), program management, or related role, ideally in a B2B SaaS company
- You have built and managed a team
- You have improved and scaled design or research practices across an organization
- You have experience with data privacy policies (e.g., GDPR), onboarding and managing vendors (including sourcing, selection, drafting SOWs, negotiating scope, and cost), procurement, and expense management systems
- You have experience with design (e.g., Figma) and research tools (e.g., Ethnio, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, User Testing)
- You have worked in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
- You have collaborated with a cross-functional team
- You are a clear and concise communicator
- You are a creator
