Full-timeProduct Manager$160,000-$207,200*
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Please let Adyen know you found this offer on WeLoveProduct as a way to support us 🫶

This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Group Product Manager, Integration Experience

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Group Product Manager for our Integration Experience team in Amsterdam. The role will be part of our Payments Solution and will focus on improving the payment integration experience for merchants across the globe while also engaging on projects and initiatives that drive value to our partners globally.

The Integration Experience domain focuses primarily on empowering our merchant’s technical users to seamlessly adopt payment innovation. We provide various solutions to make the integration of Adyen customers' easier and future-proof.

In this role, you will drive initiatives to improve the integration experience into the Adyen Payments platform. The scope includes the following areas:

Integration Experience for both our Digital and Unified Commerce merchants. Reducing time to value by enabling a simple integration. This starts with having the right data in place and making use of it through product teams.
Plugins: our in-house built plugins (primarily for platforms like Adobe Commerce and Salesforce). These plugins are widely used by many merchants, and provide a significant impact on our payment volume. This also includes alignment with our Product Partnerships team that manages the plugins built by our partners and system integrators.
Developer Experience: the Developer Experience team is responsible for webhook configurations and developer tools in the Customer Area (e.g. Developer Dashboard, API and Event Logs, now working on a dynamic Integration Guide). This team has a nice mix of technical and user-guidance topics.
Adyen’s API strategy: lead the efforts for creating a healthy customer-facing API ecosystem, incl. the automation of Adyen’s API libraries, API governance, and API style guide.
Docs strategy & innovation: support Docs technical writers with prioritization and new technologies, e.g. automating the generation of code snippets in our docs (docs.adyen.com).
Developer Relations: support our customers’ developer community through our public Postman collections and integration examples, the developer newsletter, the developer ambassador program, and our technical blog posts.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with our merchants, engineers, and partners to find and work on problems that Adyen is uniquely positioned to solve
  • Work closely with your product teams and engineers to work on fundamentals, scalability, reliability, and new products and features
  • Guide your product team and not shy away from being hands-on
  • Identify opportunities, set priorities and define (technical) product solutions for the Integration Experience
  • Collaborate with multiple technical and commercial teams. We expect you to build an excellent stakeholder network within Adyen to stay aligned with the company strategy, influence and activate other teams to achieve success together
  • With your technical counterpart, you will translate and build Adyen's strategy into concrete business value
  • Enable your technical counterpart to build a state-of-the-art Integration Experience for our diverse merchant base

Who you are:

  • Strong product leader with at least 7+ years in Product Management for software companies (preferably within the Payments or Financial Technology space)
  • People leader: with 3+ years of people management experience you know how to leverage product challenges to get the best out of your team
  • Strategy & Mindset: you have an entrepreneurial mindset and are able to form a vision - based on the company’s strategy - and work with the product and engineering teams to bring this vision to life
  • You know how to work your way through ambiguity and sometimes, contradictory interests. You know when to make assumptions and when to validate them
  • You act as an ambassador for your team and product and make your stakeholders feel excited about your goals
  • You know how to balance user requests and business needs. You are proactive in determining and improving the reliability of the products you manage, and understand that reliability comes before new features
  • Knowledge: you understand and know how to work with: APIs, critical and highly-available software, UX, Compliance, Legal
  • Integrity: you have earned the trust of your technical and non-technical customers and colleagues from any part of the organization
  • Data-informed: you can guide analysts with the right questions to answer, and turn those answers into business value
  • Adaptability and creativity: plans and conditions always change, but you still positively navigate the right course
