Based in our HQ in Barcelona, as Group Product Manager for the Food vertical, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end lifecycle of our food customers. This includes driving customer acquisition, activation, frequency, and retention strategies. You will collaborate closely with marketing, promotions, pricing, and segmentation teams to design effective incentives that drive user behaviour. You will have an influence on the entire customer food ordering journey from signup to store discovery to search to the shopping experience. 

This role combines hands-on responsibilities with management duties. You will lead a team of 2-4 seasoned product managers, fostering their growth and ensuring they deliver their best. You will oversee the food tribe, define its vision and strategy, set clear, impact-driven goals, and take charge of hiring within this area. Additionally, this role will require you to travel to diverse markets and engage with partners, customers, and local management teams.

A key skill you demonstrate is the drive, a deep understanding of user psychology, design thinking and jobs to be done, and forming hypotheses and experiments to help Glovo win in food across its 25+ markets.

Collaboration is at the heart of your role, as you'll work closely with fellow PMs, engineers, data analysts, UX researchers, designers, and business stakeholders to build product and technical solutions that unlock strategic and sustainable growth in Glovo’s food vertical.

Your goals as a GPM

  • Define the vision and strategy for the Food Category over 24 months.
  • Distill into the semester OKR for your group by working closely with different stakeholders (general managers of countries, chief marketing officer, chief revenue officer, and other stakeholders in ads, partners, and customer support group)
  • Be customer-obsessed and talk to customers regularly, and solve for their painpoints.
  • Grow the orders, GMV, while balancing profitability to make Glovo the preferred app for consumers to order food online.
  • Execute with speed, obsess over quality of features and relentless improvement.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance activation, engagement, and reactivation along with features that will enhance the discovery of cuisines and dishes which are personalised to the user
  • Improve funnel optimisation for each step of the user journey to drive metrics such as order volume, GMV, conversion rate, click-through rate, and content relevance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring your vision to life, including marketing, partners and brands team, engineering, uxr, data science and analytics team which are part of your group.
  • Mentor and guide your team to achieve excellence.

You have:

  • 6+ years of relevant product experience in the e-commerce domain.
  • Experience managing Product Managers.
  • Proven expertise in enhancing funnel optimisation in a consumer experience product.
  • Attention to detail and strong bias for action.
  • A passion for leveraging futuristic trends to drive engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
