Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Here at Confluence, we celebrate the many ways we work. We connect from the Colorado mountains, Miami co-working spaces, Hawaii beaches, and our offices in San Francisco, Mountain View, Manhattan, and Austin.
As the Group Product Manager for Confluence’s Backend Team, you will lead a team of product managers solving some of Atlassian’s most important challenges - delighting customers as they migrate from on premise installations to the cloud, optimizing our cloud offering for scale and speed, and working closely with engineers to architect the next generation of our codebase to support modern, world-class product experiences.
As a key member of the Confluence leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the overarching strategy for the backend team, whose work underpins Atlassian’s #1 business objective - successful migrations and transition to cloud. This means you’ll be at the fore communicating with Atlassian’s top leaders and ensuring strategy is aligned.
More about you
You love working hard to deliver outstanding products and capabilities for customers, and are happy and comfortable in the technical end of the product swimming pool.
