This role is defined as a Graphic Design Manager for incubation products that we intend to bring to market in the near future, and we’re looking for someone who is ready to make an impact at an established software company entering a new phase of product development growth. You’ll report directly to the Director of Product Marketing, and you’ll be responsible for designing digital marketing assets for a wide variety of channels across a broad range of media, including websites, mobile, social and display campaigns, email, and other content. This is a dedicated design role on a fast-growing product team within Foxit.

This role utilizes brand-minded thinking and expertise in understanding systems and applying brand principles to the work, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate a mastery of the foundational skills of design and strategic thinking to produce the high-quality design solutions within defined time constraints.

Responsibilities

20% Creative Ideation

- Help drive new product branding forward,

- Design and iterate on existing branding, and improve overall brand development. 

- Develop and implement creative best practices to inform and improve email marketing communications and lifecycle cadences. 

70% Digital Design 

- Use independent creative thought and techniques to create digital design concepts, layouts, comps, moodboard/whiteboard explorations. 

- Utilize design tools and systems to provide high-quality work within prescribed deadlines; 

- Engage in strategic discussions and share expertise to improve work outputs as well as drive innovation. 

- Utilize independent judgment to proactively solve design problems. 

- Work across a broad digital media scope including: email layout design, vector design, photography treatments, and native display advertising. 

- Use modular design concepts to create reusable elements and scalable templates

10% Copywriting 

- Provide guidance and support to other team members. 

- Work closely with product marketing and lifecycle marketing to assist in messaging and campaign creation 

Experience & Knowledge

- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

- 3+ years of Graphic Design experience (user focused, agency, corporate)

- Experience creating asset sets for large nurture programs.

- Familiarity with correct asset sizing for ad distribution platforms (social, video, display, etc.) 

- Familiarity with image breakpoints for web assets 

- Experience with industry leading creative software

- Collaboration experience with UX researchers, marketers, merchandisers, product/project Managers, and developers

- Experience designing for Email Marketing

- Experience designing for Display Advertising 

- Experience working with, interpreting, and enforcing correct use of brand or corporate identity guidelines. 

- Strong understanding of modular design and design scalability in modern advertising.
