Graphic / Brand Designer

Mapbox helps businesses and developers create a unique mapping and navigation experience on any device. Our goal is to navigate people, packages, and vehicles everywhere.

This post is written by me - Slava Fedosenko, manager of the Web Design team. Our team is part of the Marketing department and in many ways we are the ones who shape the Mapbox brand. At the moment, the team consists of a manager, a UI/UX designer, a motion graphics designer, and a web developer.

What you’ll have to do

We’re looking for a new design star to join our united team, who will have a big impact on the big product.

Main duties for this role:

• Create attractive graphics which help tell a story: blog post covers, graphs and data visualizations, icons and various images / illustrations on the website.
• Design commercial offers / presentations for our big customers.
• Build multi-purpose presentation templates.
• Prepare different marketing materials: brochures, ad banners, posters.
• Design branded swag and other print production.
  
  

What you need to join us

• Excellent taste.
• 3+ years of experience in graphic / brand design.
• Ability to create high-quality 2D/3D graphic content (illustrations, data visualization, photo processing, etc.).
• Great experience with Figma and Adobe graphics package.
• Upper-intermediate English (fluent speaking and great writing).
• Ability to build your own work, find the necessary information on your own, and constantly communicate with various departments of the company.
• Strong communication skills, ability to defend your point of view with arguments and say "no".
• Be inspired by the global Mapbox mission.
