What You'll Do:
Mighty is hiring a Freelance Product Designer with a strong consumer background to help build an app that will help individuals who are pursuing their Personal Injury cases better interact with their law firm. You will assist with building new software experiences from the ground up, taking complex problems and devising creative, elegant solutions. This role is open to freelance designers in the US and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with defining user journeys through a complex tech-enabled service, spanning all users’ interactions with technology and people
- Contribute to the creation and validation of user-centric designs based on deep understanding of our users from pure research and discovery, quantitative data, usability testing, and intuition
- Drive translation of complex solutions into optimal user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and clickable prototypes to communicate and validate designs, usability, and outcomes
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering to deliver the desired UX
- See your design work through from start to finish: turn user research insights into ideas, bring prototypes to life, and features that improve Mighty’s newest product.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Product Design experience, with a preference for prior early-stage startup experience
- A portfolio of exceptional work, with an emphasis consumer products (web and mobile)
- Expertise in user research - ranging from scrappy to best-in-class processes
- Excellent skills for capturing, analyzing, and applying quantitative and qualitative data
- Talent for structured thinking, self-organization, and aggressive prioritization
- Passion for distilling complexity into elegant, intuitive UX
- A deep empathy for our users and a desire to help them
