Modern architectures are complex – every product has hundreds of components, including microservices, batch jobs, and data pipelines. 

As engineers, we waste countless hours updating spreadsheets, digging through confluence pages when we're paged at 2am, and trying to grok services named after Game of Thrones characters.

Engineering leaders are in the dark about the quality of the software their teams are building and where they should be investing.

We think it’s time to empower engineering teams to focus on building and make it easier to create reliable, high quality software.

We're hiring a founding Product Designer!

Design is critical to the future success of Cortex. We are growing extremely fast (5x in the last quarter alone) and shipping features with a clean user experience is table-stakes. As our first designer, you will work closely with the founding team to craft the design of Cortex. We work with stellar companies (Grammarly, Opendoor, Loom, etc) and you will contribute extensively to user research and customer success.

Some of the areas you would focus on:

✅ Lead design for the Cortex product as a whole

✅ Collaborate closely with the founding team to define, design, ship, and iterate on different features

✅ Participate in user research and customer success conversations

✅ Play a key role in scaling the design team for the future
