Our care providers are highly-trained healthcare professionals focused on support, comfort, and dignity. Founding Designer

Compensation: At Guaranteed, we aim to offer equitable and competitive compensation that demonstrates the value we place in our employees and our appreciation for the work they preform; the base salary range for this role is likely to fall between $105,000 - $160,000 and includes equity plus a full range of benefits.

Summary

As the Founding Designer, you will be working directly with the founders to deliver on our ambitious roadmap. As our first full-time design hire, you’ll have a huge role in shaping the vision, product, and user experience. We’re looking for candidates who are passionate, out-of-the-box thinkers that are true creatives able to design across multiple mediums.

The Founding Designer will report directly to the Founder & CEO. This position will be based in-person in our NYC office.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the visual design of our product/service, branding, and marketing materials.

• Work with the Founder & CEO to establish the company's design strategy and vision.

• Collaborate with the product and engineering team to design user interfaces and experiences that are both beautiful and functional.

• Create high-quality, scalable design assets that can be used across various platforms and mediums.

• Rapid prototyping and iterating across all design needs including but limited to UI/UX needs, graphic design work - whatever is needed as we build out our product and service.

Skills and Toolsets You'll Need to Bring

• Design Skills: You should have a solid foundation in graphic design, typography, color theory, and layout design. You should also be able to create high-quality, scalable design assets that can be used across various platforms and mediums.

• User Experience (UX) Design Skills: You should have experience designing for digital products and services, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles. You should be able to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts to the product team.

• Visual Design Tools: You should be proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Sketch, Figma, and other design software.

• UX Design Tools: You should be familiar with UX design tools such as Axure, InVision, and Sketch to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.

• Branding and Marketing Design: You should be able to develop and execute the visual design of branding and marketing materials that effectively communicate the company's message and values.

• Communication and Collaboration Skills: You should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with the founding team, product team, and other stakeholders.

Nice to Haves

• Experience at a health tech startup or company

• Experience cultivating or working with a hybrid health care model

• Experience at a startup in the 0 to 1 phase

• Experience with Webflow

Relevant Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a designer, with a portfolio that showcases your design skills and creativity.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Webflow, etc.

• Experience designing for digital products and services.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

• Passion for entrepreneurship and early-stage startups.
