Vantage is a cloud cost visibility and optimization platform, alternatively known as a FinOps platform. We help companies of all sizes manage their cloud infrastructure costs: everything from individual developers all the way up to multiple Fortune 500 customers. Our co-founders are industry veterans who have been former infrastructure engineers and product managers at DigitalOcean and AWS. The company is an efficient and hard working team of ~30 employees across the US with a New York City center of gravity.As we transition to the growth phase of the business, it’s likely our team size will at least double into 2024.

About The Role:
As the Director of Product Marketing you will collaborate closely with engineering to build go-to-market plans for new products and features and determine how to best position Vantage as growth and competition in this space accelerates. This will include being an expert at communicating value in a credible way to a technical audience. You will lead key GTM initiatives and build and inspire a team of PMMs.
What You Will Do:
Develop, manage, mentor, and lead a team of product marketers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Develop highly impactful positioning for our products, articulating key value propositions effectively to resonate with our target audiences.
Lead key go-to-market initiatives, including new market entries and innovative product launches, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, and post-sales activities.
Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and partner marketing teams and establish a feedback loop of customer and competitive insights that inform product strategy and roadmap.
Partner with the sales team to provide sales tools and deliver training that accelerate onboarding of new sales team members and sales cycles.
10+ years of experience in product marketing within the B2B technology sector, with a strong track record in both strategy and execution.
Experienced in managing and mentoring team members, with a passion for developing talent.
Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging, with a keen eye for market opportunities and competitive landscape.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with past experience creating high impact content or delivering presentations that accelerate pipeline and sales.
Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive measurable business impact.

Pay & Benefits
The estimated annual US base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $235,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and education stipends.
