We are looking for a Product Marketing Director to help drive the go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for Output’s upcoming product launches. You will help Output build a deeper understanding of our current and future audiences, develop research and data-driven marketing strategies to drive subscription revenue and partner closely with cross-functional teams to successfully launch and nurture new products.  Most importantly, we’re looking for a team player and a leader. To be effective in this role, the Product Marketing Director will have the personal drive and enthusiasm to navigate a growing company in an evolving marketplace successfully.

How you'll add value:

  • Develop and lead go-to-market strategies for a range of new product launches, working closely with teams across product, analytics, marketing, design, and finance. 
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product positioning.
  • Influence product strategy roadmaps by representing the voice of the customer
  • Collaborate with the product team to define and communicate product positioning and key benefits to different customer segments.
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing initiatives alongside marketing teams (brand, growth, creative) to generate awareness and demand for our products.
  • Partner with product teams to identify product-led growth opportunities
  • Measure and analyze the success of product marketing initiatives and refine strategies based on data and results.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • 8-10 years of experience in driving go-to-market strategies at a hyper-growth consumer technology company; experience in music not required but a strong plus 
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to manage complex product launches.
  • Proven experience working across multiple marketing channels and the ability to adapt strategies to various platforms.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute with a results-driven mindset.
  • Detail-oriented, innovative, and resourceful
  • Data-driven and customer-obsessed mentality

Additional information:

  • This role is open to candidates in Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver and New York with a preference for candidates in San Francisco 
  • In accordance with California law, the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $200,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
