Who?

Twilio is looking for a Director of Product Management. The ideal candidate has:

  • 10+ years total PM experience, w/ minimum 3 years leading a team in an agile, cloud, continuous delivery environment.
  • Worked on a B2B high-growth product or platform: contact center, CRM, unified communication / collaboration, productivity, or similar.
  • Proven success in product management for both small and large organisations.
  • Experience leading a data-driven approach to PM decision-making.
  • Consistent track record conceptualising multiple products and taking them to market.
  • Solid understanding of what it means to own/operate cloud services, especially developer platforms.
  • Worked closely with developers and communicated on that level.
  • Understanding of enterprise / B2B go-to-market, experience managing enterprise customer expectations.
  • Ability to build and mentor a growing PM team
  • Bachelor/Master in Computer Science + MBA or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience in or with contact center products is helpful.

  • Own the roadmap and product strategy for a new Flex Service
  • Be the voice of our customers in every conversation and decision, drive the vision and strategy for the future of Flex specifically and Twilio overall, and ensure we build world class products that our customers love and value
  • Build and mentor the product team that defines the next generation of voice, messaging, video and email customer engagement experiences for enterprises across the globe
  • Get your hands dirty and have a get-it-done mentality
  • Align executives, communicate the roadmap, convince peers, coordinate dependencies and remove obstacles for your team along the way
  • Develop and evangelize, internally and externally, industry-leading customer service experiences
